New Kiln Fund Raiser
The Art House is raising funds to enable our Participants and Members to create more wonderful work and expand the charity's offer
We are starting a Fund Raiser to buy a New Rohde TE250S Kiln….exciting!
If you would like to help make this dream come true we are asking for a donation of £5, £10, £15 or £20 with Gift Aid.
Every donators name will be etched onto a plaque which will be displayed in the pottery studio.
The Art House delivers wellbeing groups for adults with ongoing mental health difficulties.
Each week, participants pursue their interest in art and/or pottery at their own pace, focusing on individual projects or group work with other students. Learning new skills and developing artistic exploration helps build other skills such as decision making, problem solving and planning. Our wellbeing classes support an increased sense of belonging, development of artistic identity and progression into new projects and opportunities. Our classes allow participants to keep safe and meet and engage with new people.
Every pound you invest in learning a new creative skill through our commercial classes helps to support and promote the recovery, social inclusion and development of local artists from marginalised groups. The Art House is a thriving, valued and accessible city centre resource for art and creativity.
