About Holly

My name is Holly and I am a Sheffield based Mindfulness & Meditation Teacher and Cognitive Hypnotherapist. I work with people 1:1 and in groups, online and in person.

For 20 years I performed professionally in theatre, on tour and in London's West End.

During the pandemic I had time to reflect on the crippling anxiety and chronic fatigue I experienced in my performing career. Through a journey of mindfulness, self exploration and talking therapy, I found incredible new ways to experience calm fulfilment and joy, eventually moving to Sheffield in search of a greener, softer life.

This has been so transformative for me, I feel passionately about sharing my learnings with others. Since retraining as a therapist I now have the privilege of connecting with people to guide them on a journey back to themselves and to what they truly love. To give them invaluable tools with which to navigate life's inevitable stresses, ups and downs.

Although I always have a clear intention of what each session will entail, during this 5 Week Course I also allow the sessions to be guided by the group. I provide an open safe space in which you may share your worries and challenges, if you feel comfortable to do so. I believe it is important not to be too rigid in the structure of my sessions, to leave room for discussion to flow naturally, enabling you to personally get as much out of our time together as possible.

These sessions will always involve compassionate non-judgemental discussion lead by myself, and a little meditation, usually for a maximum of 15minutes. I will share the ‘pillars’ of mindfulness through our sessions and mindful exercises that you can carry with you into the week ahead. This allows what we discover in the sessions to weave into your everyday life, taking positive effect in a tangible way.

I know first hand what it's like to feel lost and overwhelmed in a fast paced world. I truly believe you already have everything you need inside of you to make the positive lasting change you want in your life. Sometimes we just need a little help to rediscover it.
