A native of Liverpool, Fr Naylor was made Vicar of St Matthew’s Carver Street in 2015 and has served on several boards for a variety of charitable causes. He has a concern for community causes and the wellbeing of the people of Sheffield.

John McQuater is a Solicitor, and Director of Switalskis Solicitors Limited. He has a long connection with St Matthew’s Church and has been involved with the Art House from the outset.

Dr Stuart Barfield lives in Sheffield where he works in a local hospital. He has been a parishioner at St Matthew’s Church for many years and is also churchwarden. He has an interest in photography and design and was pleased to recently join The Art House as a Trustee.

Caroline joined the Board in January 2017. She established the Finance and HR committees in early 2017 and Chaired the HR committee for 5 years and has been Chair of the Finance committee since December 2018.

Caroline brings a wealth of governance experience from her senior management roles she held in the Civil Service while working for the Department for Business. Caroline was previously Chair of Governors for a local Church of England junior school and achieved an outstanding rating from Ofsted for the school’s governance.
